7 de julho de 1985. Torneio de tênis de Wimbledon. O relógio no placar da quadra central marca 17h26 enquanto Boris Becker se prepara para o último saque. Ele encara fixamente o oponente Kevin Curren. A bola amarela de feltro se torna uma bola de canhão e não havia nada que Curren pudesse fazer para evitar a derrota. Ace. Jogo, set, e partida para Becker.Ninguém imaginaria naquele momento que em 2022 o mesmo Boris Becker acabaria em uma prisão cumprindo pena por processo de falência.

Na transmissão daquele que seria o último dia de funcionamento da rede de TV, funcionários e técnicos fazem um apelo público ao então presidente João Figueiredo, que havia assinado o decreto que cassou a concessão de funcionamento da emissora, afundada em dívidas bilionárias.

Esta edição estava programada para ser lançada na última quarta-feira deste mês, assim como todos os episódios do Resumo do Som. Mas resolvi adiantar seu lançamento para que os ouvintes possam celebrar o legado de TINA TURNER no dia de hoje, sabendo um pouco mais sobre essa música que é tão importante na carreira dela. Por este motivo, não há menção no episódio sobre sua morte. Era algo inimaginável quando produzi o episódio. E ainda é difícil de acreditar. Descanse em paz, rainha.
